The Seahawks did not so much draft Barryn Sorrell as overpay for him, 162 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. The board pushed back all weekend, and the D- is the result.

That Bassa pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
