The Desmond Reid selection is the head-turner. The Commanders reached 47 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Trading back for volume was the quiet throughline of their weekend.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.
