The Commanders got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the C+.

You can lose a draft before you make a pick. The Commanders did it at the trade table, overpaying to chase players the board did not price nearly as high. The good and the questionable cancel out to a C+.

They are betting Travis proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Getting Etienne where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

If JT Tuimoloau and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
