The Falcons cashed the board's mistake on McCaffrey: B+.

Whoever sat across the table from the Falcons should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

For all the activity, offensive lineman went untouched, which is hard to explain. However the rest shakes out, McCaffrey at that price is a win they earned.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
