The Commanders let Sadiq fall and pounced. Final grade: A.

Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Kenyon Sadiq got past him. The Commanders do not have to explain a thing at Round 7, Pick 8. This is how you run a draft, and the A reflects it.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The veteran additions, Edgerrin Cooper chief among them, give the class a floor the rookies alone would not.

In the end it comes back to LT Overton, and a haul good enough to build on right away.
