Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Eagles were there to profit. Justin Scott, the No. 21 name on the board, should have been long gone before No. 68.

The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

They left with edge rusher solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

A strong weekend's work, and a rare one to find this little fault with.
