A sensible, unshowy class lands the Steelers a B-.

There is conviction, and then there is this. The Steelers took Myles Murphy a full 30 picks ahead of where the board had him, an overdraft steep enough that it colors the whole weekend. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

However the rest shakes out, Wilson at that price is a win they earned. Spending an early pick on offensive lineman with quarterback, edge rusher and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. On the needs board they went 5 of 9, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
