The war room fell hard for Jordan Whittington, and it showed at the 238th overall pick: 56 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast.

It is not that Suamataia is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. A whole weekend of picks and quarterback is somehow still a want.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
