When a board-topper like Kingsley Suamataia slides to the Round 3 slot, you do not overthink it, and the Steelers did not. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. The cost of the Cohen reach is exactly the players who went right after him. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain.

With quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots unsolved, spending premium capital on offensive lineman is the choice that costs them.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
