The Steelers let Jenkins fall into their laps, and walked away with a B-.

The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: Kris Jenkins, the No. 50 name on the board, sitting there at the 84th pick like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

They will answer for taking offensive lineman early while interior defensive lineman, linebacker and other spots went begging. They are betting Milton III proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

That interior defensive lineman hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
