A mixed bag for the Steelers, and a C+ to match.

The Steelers spent real capital to be 57 picks early on Xavier Scott, and the board is going to hold them to it.

That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

The Steelers indulged a want in Coleman while a need in edge rusher stayed open. They went 3 of 4 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

If Cam Coleman and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
