The board owed the Steelers one, and it paid up: Mike Sainristil, the No. 77 name on the board, sitting there at pick 119 like a gift left on the doorstep.

They will need Harris to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

The Puni pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
