They will need Thornton Jr. to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
