You build a draft on nights like this. Jeffrey Bassa had no business being available in pick 175, and the Bills did the only sane thing and turned in the card. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Burch reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with linebacker chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
