The Bills lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

The Drake Nugent selection is the head-turner. The Bills reached 79 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Too much went sideways, and the D- is the honest tally.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers. They banked enough surplus on Hart to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, edge rusher very much included.
