A sensible, unshowy class lands the Falcons a B.

Nobody else had Josiah Ezirim anywhere near Round 6, Pick 12. The Falcons did, by 105 spots, and that gap is the whole story. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. Burton at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
