The Chargers lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Allen pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

That Van Pran pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
