The war room fell hard for Blake Watson, and it showed at the 255th overall pick: 30 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

Spending an early pick on safety with quarterback, wide receiver and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Thomas at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
