You build a draft on nights like this. Donovan Edwards had no business being available in Round 7, Pick 10, and the Chiefs did the only sane thing and turned in the card. It nets out to a B-, which feels about right.

The Stutsman pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. That wide receiver hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
