Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall B-
ValueB- NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
Quarterback settled, Mendoza in the fold, and a B- for the Raiders.

Boards are made to be trusted, and the Raiders shredded theirs for Riley Nowakowski. He came off 65 spots early, and the room will hear about it. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B-.

The whole projection now runs through Fernando Mendoza; hit there and everything else looks smarter. However the rest shakes out, Moore at that price is a win they earned.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Fernando Mendoza
In the Round 1 slot they get the arm they will build around. A real need, handled.
Pick36 Rnd2 Lee Hunter
Lee Hunter at the 36th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick67 Rnd3 Omar Cooper Jr.
A tidy bit of business in pick No. 67, where Omar Cooper Jr. graded well above the range. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick102 Rnd4 Malik Muhammad
Malik Muhammad in slot 102 lands just on the right side of the ledger. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick117 Rnd4 Jalon Kilgore
No drama and no debate, Jalon Kilgore went about where he belonged in No. 117. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick134 Rnd4 Jalen Farmer
A wild overpay on Jalen Farmer in Round 4, Pick 34, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
Pick175 Rnd5 Louis Moore
Taking Louis Moore in the 175th overall pick is close to grand larceny; a safety that good had no business lasting this long. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick182 Rnd6 Taylen Green
Nothing to complain about; Taylen Green went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick185 Rnd6 Oscar Delp
Oscar Delp in slot 185 is fair value, right on his grade. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick208 Rnd6 Riley Nowakowski
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Riley Nowakowski well ahead of where he belonged. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick219 Rnd7 Aiden Fisher
Aiden Fisher in No. 219 is early enough to raise a brow, if not a full objection. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
