After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Raiders committed. Fernando Mendoza is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

The Scott pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it.

Pavia has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Cornerback is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
