The Buccaneers clearly saw something nobody else did in JJ Pegues, taking him 27 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

The Mondon Jr. pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at tight end, quarterback and other spots. The tight end hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

The Mondon Jr. pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
