Nobody dealt better than the Bears this weekend: A-.

The trade table was a mismatch, and the Bears were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A- to show for it.

Travis has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. It is not that DeJean is a bad player; it is that the Bears had louder needs to answer first. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

The Wilson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Bottom line, they did the job about as well as it can be done.
