The Buccaneers spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Edgerrin Cooper, the No. 48 name on the board, in Round 3, Pick 29. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. A whole weekend of picks and interior defensive lineman is somehow still a want.

The Culp pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

Call it incomplete, and check back in a couple of seasons.
