You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Vikings did exactly that with Jay Higgins in Round 5, Pick 30.

That Rourke pick is the receipt they will wave around later. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Job largely done: quarterback settled and 6 of 8 of the wish list covered.
