A sensible, unshowy class lands the Vikings a B.

Somebody in No. 134 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Vikings sat still while Cam Skattebo, the No. 111 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

They are betting Pegues proves the room right and everyone else wrong. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They left with offensive lineman solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.

They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
