The Patriots did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B.

For all the boxes ticked, the Patriots skipped the loudest one: edge rusher is exactly as bare as it was. A sturdy weekend that grades out a B.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.

Pick Analysis
Pick3 Rnd1 Marvin Harrison Jr.
In the 3rd overall pick they get a true top target at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
