The 49ers cashed the board's mistake on McCord: B.

Somebody in the 228th pick was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The 49ers sat still while Kyle McCord, the No. 125 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Monheim reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

Offensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
