Best value of the weekend goes to the Seahawks for Harvey: B-.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Seahawks were there to profit. RJ Harvey, the No. 158 name on the board, should have been long gone before the Round 6 slot. They moved the roster forward and banked a B- for it.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Ratledge has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.

In pick No. 18 they get a centerfielder for the defense. More want than need.

Tre Harris at pick 50 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.

Tate Ratledge at the Round 2 slot is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

The board had cheaper options than Charles Grant at the 82nd overall pick, and it noticed. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick92 Rnd3 Jaylin Noel
They took Jaylin Noel at par in Round 3, Pick 28, which is nothing to complain about. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick137 Rnd4 Tyler Shough
Tyler Shough in No. 137 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick172 Rnd5 JJ Pegues
No edge and no loss on JJ Pegues in the 172nd pick; it is a wash and a sensible one. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.

A straight-up fair deal on Cobee Bryant at slot 175, value and slot in agreement. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.

A running back of that caliber at pick No. 185 is the definition of value, full stop. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
