The trade table was a mismatch, and the Texans were on the right end of it, hauling in a fortune in surplus value.

If Taylor III pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Texans clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
