Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Texans spent pick No. 250 on Devin Culp, a name most had 81 spots down the list. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. Getting Rakestraw Jr. where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Running back is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the quarterback spot they never got to.
