The Texans did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Woody Marks fell into Round 7, Pick 20.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Reaching for Booker left real value on the table behind him.

They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
