The steal of the weekend belongs to the Texans and Brooks: B.

Somebody in pick 236 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Texans sat still while Tahj Brooks, the No. 198 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They are betting Trapilo proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
