A costly weekend of dealing drags the Texans to a D+.

The Texans looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took McCallan Castles at No. 247 regardless, 95 picks early. The math is unkind, and the D+ follows.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

That Newton pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
