Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Steelers spent the Round 7 slot on Hayden Conner, a name most had 38 spots down the list. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. On value alone, Blue makes the weekend a net positive.

Interior defensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The back end got a real overhaul.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
