The Sam Hartman selection is the head-turner. The Buccaneers reached 33 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

On value alone, Schrader makes the weekend a net positive. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through interior defensive lineman. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
