Nobody else had Michael Wiley anywhere near the 255th pick. The Packers did, by 44 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. That Melton pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
