The value of the weekend has a name and a slot: Cam Skattebo, the 175th pick, roughly 70 picks past where he belonged.

They will need Milroe to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The Bills indulged a want in Fitzgerald while a need in linebacker, safety and other spots stayed open.

The linebacker hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They went 6 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
