If confidence were a draft strategy, the Steelers would have aced it. Sam Hartman at Round 6, Pick 20 is 64 spots clear of where he belonged.

It is not that Fisher is a bad player; it is that the Steelers had louder needs to answer first. That safety hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Sainristil value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.
