Somehow the biggest item on the list survived the weekend. The Cardinals never addressed quarterback, and it is the kind of gap that lingers. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Murphy II. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
