The Packers spent real capital to be 149 picks early on KJ Jefferson, and the board is going to hold them to it. A weekend of give and take that grades a C-.

The whole projection now runs through Dillon Gabriel; hit there and everything else looks smarter. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Howard at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.

If Dillon Gabriel and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
