The Vikings did not so much draft Dorian Strong as overpay for him, 26 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Landing James that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
