The Lions cashed the board's mistake on Torrence: F.

The trade table was where it all came apart. The Lions shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.

For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Kneeland has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. They banked enough surplus on Torrence to cover a lot of smaller sins.

The bill for those future picks comes due whether the class hits or not.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left quarterback open, and the grade is the bill.
