Warren should have been long gone. The Steelers pounced, and earned a A-.

If you want a masterclass in dealing, watch the Steelers, who turned every swap into a profit this weekend. The sum of the weekend is a deserved A-.

Warren at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it. Linton has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

It is a haul that will look even better come September.
