Skattebo should have been long gone. The Bills pounced, and earned a C.

The board owed the Bills one, and it paid up: Cam Skattebo, the No. 105 name on the board, sitting there at slot 202 like a gift left on the doorstep.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.
