It is a puzzling start. The Steelers had quarterback, edge rusher and other spots to solve and reached instead for Matt Goncalves, an offensive lineman, at the 119th pick. A dependable weekend that grades out a B-.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. They are betting Van Pran proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

A tidy weekend of work that should hold up just fine.
