Somewhere a general manager is explaining how Keon Coleman got past him. The Packers do not have to explain a thing at No. 88. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

Every board in the league had Mayes lower, and that gap is the story. For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

The weekend tilted hard toward the defense.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
