This is the pick they will still be bragging about in July: Xavier Watts, the No. 49 name on the board, stolen at pick 84. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through running back. Spending an early pick on safety with running back, cornerback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. They will need Thomas to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
