Nix is the Broncos' new face under center. Grade: B.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Broncos spent their marquee pick on Bo Nix, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. That linebacker hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

The Jones steal is the beam this whole class leans on. The Hall reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
