Draft Grade — Broncos
Overall
D

FutureB
The Broncos bled value on every deal, hence the D. Somebody took the Broncos to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it.
Every board in the league had Means lower, and that gap is the story. They will regret leaving linebacker for another day if the season turns on it.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and linebacker is still a hole.
Pick Analysis
Pick12
Rnd1
Rome Odunze
In the 12th overall pick they get a No. 1 receiver at fair value.
Pick33
Rnd2
Darius Robinson
Darius Robinson at the Round 2 slot is right where the board had him, plain and simple. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
Pick64
Rnd2
Ricky Pearsall
They did well to land Ricky Pearsall in slot 64, just ahead of his grade. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick133
Rnd4
Theo Johnson
Theo Johnson in Round 4, Pick 33 is fair value, right on his grade. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick146
Rnd5
Jarrian Jones
By-the-book stuff, Jarrian Jones at the 146th pick squarely in line with his ranking. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.
Pick237
Rnd7
Bub Means
A swing that ignored the value entirely, Bub Means well ahead of where he belonged. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
